Problem/FAQ:
I scaled the mA input on my SITRANS RD200 and now the mA output does not match the input?

Solution:
The RD200 allows for the mA input and mA output to be scaled separately. This allows the operator to select a different ratio for the output.

For example, the default input and output settings are:

Input                                                            Output
4 mA in = 4.00 on display                            4.00 on display = 4 mA out
20 mA in = 20.00 on display                        20.00 on display = 20 mA out

So when you scale the input, the output does not change:

Input                                                             Output (remains the same)
4 mA in = 0.0 on display                                4.0 on display = 4 mA out
20 mA in = 100.0 on display                          20.0 on display = 20 mA out

You need to then scale the output to match the input:

Input                                                             Output
4 mA in = 00.00 on display                           0.00 on display = 4 mA out
20 mA in = 100.0 on display                        100.0 on display = 20 mA out

It’s important to remember that both the input and output are scaled to the value shown on the RD200 display.
