How do you log in to OSD after you have received a download-ready e-mail?

After receiving a download-ready e-mail, you log in to the Online Software Delivery (OSD) with your delivery note, Industry Mall Account or your OSD account to download your ordered software product or to access your software contracts.

1. You were not previously registered as a SIEMENS Online customer and are activating your automatically generated Online account for the first time.

If you have not yet registered for a Web Single Sign-On (“WebSSO”) account with your e-mail address, a new account is created for you as part of the download delivery. Your login data is included in your download-ready e-mail.

Proceed as follows to log in to OSD:

  1. Click the link "Forgotten you password?", to request your personal password.
  2. Under "Forgotten your password" you enter the login from your download-ready e-mail and click the "Request password" button.

  3. You then receive an e-mail from the Siemens WebSSO Service with help about passwords. Click the link in the e-mail.
  4. Assign a personal password for your login and then click "Next".
  5. Consent to the data privacy notices and terms of use and click "Next".

  6. Then check and complete your user data. Fill in all the mandatory fields marked with * and click "Continue".

  7. If you are both purchaser and consignee, you receive the following role choice.

  8.  Select the role for your application case:
    • Consignee:               Download of the prepared software products is possible
    • Purchaser:                It is possible to change contracts
       
  9. Accept the export regulations for the country of delivery and then click "Continue".

After you have logged in successfully you will find all your ordered software products, licenses and contracts in OSD.


2. You are already registered as a SIEMENS Online customer, in other words you already have an Online account that you want to use.

If you have already registered for a Web Single Sign-On (“WebSSO”) account, your ordered software products are made available as a download for that account.

Proceed as follows to log in to OSD: 

  1. Via the link Online Software Delivery you reach the OSD web page.
  2. Click the “Login” button to log in with your user account.

  3. Then enter your login name and your personal password and click "Login". If multiple WebSSO accounts are registered under your e-mail address, use your preferred login to log in.

  4. Now you receive an overview page to confirm the assignment of your user to the delivery notes / contracts.

  5. Link all your software deliveries and contracts to your current user account. For this you click the "Send verification code to e-mail address" button. You then receive a verification code sent to the specified e-mail address.

  6. Transfer the verification code to the OSD page and click the "Verify input" button. If the verification code is correct, you confirm with "Continue".
  7. If you are authorized as purchaser and as consignee in OSD, you receive the following role choice.

  8. Select the role for your application case: 
    • Consignee:               Download of the prepared software products is possible
    • Purchaser:                It is possible to change contracts
       
  9. Accept the export regulations for the country of delivery and then click "Continue".

After you have logged in successfully you will find all your ordered software products, licenses and contracts in OSD. 


3. You are already using your SIEMENS Online account for downloading products. 

If you have already received download deliveries to your Web Single Sign-On (“WebSSO”) account, you log in to OSD as follows.

Your login data is included in your download-ready e-mail.

  1. Via the link Online Software Delivery (OSD) you reach the OSD web page.
  2. Click the “Login” button to log in with your user account.

  3. Then enter your login name and your personal password and click "Login".

After you have logged in successfully you will find all your ordered software products, licenses and contracts in OSD.


4. You have received a delivery note with login data. 

The download-ready e-mail gives you a delivery note number and a temporary password for accessing OSD.

Proceed as follows to log in to OSD:

  1. Click the link "Online Software Delivery" to reach the OSD web page.
    Note
    Alternatively you can also call OSD via the TIA Administrator or via the ALM (Automation License Manager):
    • Start the TIA Administrator and select the "Download software" tile on the overview page.
    • Start the ALM (Automation License Manager) and in the navigation area you click "Web License Key Download". 
  2. Migrate your delivery note login to our secure login with a user account. To start the migration you click the link "Start the migration".

  3. The following pages give a brief explanation of the migration procedure.

  4. First you log in with your delivery note login.
    Enter the delivery note number and your personal password and confirm the entries via the “Login with Delivery Note” button.

  5. The following page gives you an overview of whether a user account already exists for your email address.
    1. If you have one or multiple user accounts for your email address, you can log in directly with your user account. Do this by clicking the “Login” button.
      In the dialog that follows you enter your login name and your personal password. Confirm the entry and click the “Login” button.

    2. If an active account could not be found, you can create a new user account directly.
      You do this by clicking the “Create user account” button.

      You then receive an email with the access data to your new user account.
      Follow the instructions in the email to complete your new user account.   6. Then all the delivery notes sent to this email address are migrated to your user account.
    The delivery note login becomes invalid. In future you log in to OSD using your user account.
    After you have logged in successfully you will find all the ordered software products, licenses and contracts in OSD.
