In combination with the corresponding battery modules, SITOP UPS1100, for example, the SITOP UPS1600 uninterruptible power supply acts as a buffer of the load current of 24V load power supplies.
The SITOP UPS1600 can be implemented in applications with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Industry PCs.

Easy configuration and monitoring via SITOP UPS Manager
For application with Industry PCs the SITOP UPS Manager is installed on all Industry PCs which are to be buffered by the SITOP UPS1600 for a parameterizable time in the case of power failure.
The SITOP UPS1600 and the battery module are configured and parameterized with the SITOP UPS Manager. If there is a power failure the SITOP UPS Manager shuts down the Industry PCs in a controlled and parameterizable order.

Easy Engineering in the TIA Portal
For application with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) the SITOP UPS1600 is configured and parameterized in STEP 7 (TIA Portal) as a PROFINET IO device. The S7 communication blocks which are called in the user program of the PLC are available for communication between PLC and SITOP UPS1600. For visualizing the status and the diagnostics data of the SITOP UPS1600 there are faceplates available which you can integrate into the HMI station.
