Note
In order to be able to use the functionality of TeleControl Server Basic (TCSB) in SIMATIC WinCC, you have make the settings described above.
If you make different settings, the time of the WinCC PC when it receives the data is used as the time stamp.

Special features of the acquisition type "On change"

 No. BehaviorWorkaround
1As long as a value does not change, no other value is entered in the trend. This causes a gap in WinCC from the time 'now' to the last value change prior to that. In the case of tags for which you do not want a value to be entered for a long period of time, it is possible, for example, to add and subtract small values in the decimal point portion.
In this way a change of the value is registered and entered in the WinCC archive.
2No value is entered in the archive between two changes. If the 'Lineal' is created in the control display, likewise no value is displayed. In the case of tags for which you do not want a value to be entered for a long period of time, it is possible, for example, to add and subtract small values in the decimal point portion.
In this way a change of the value is registered and entered in the WinCC archive.
3In the case of a buffer (TCSB server not accessible from the station), when the server is switched on again in a very short time period the data from the CP is forwarded to the TCSB and from there on to WinCC.
In this case, the values in WinCC are timed correctly but not all the values are completely archived.
The fast and numerous value changes in the TCSB are not all transferred to WinCC because of the updating time in the WinCC Client.
4In the case of cyclic updating of the values on the CP side, the values are nevertheless only written to WinCC if they have changed.Values are entered in the tag memory only when they change.
Correspondingly, workarounds can be employed as under No. 1.
The options "interpolate" and "gradual display" can be set depending on the value.
