With active referencing, why does the parameter for the approach direction not match the actual approach direction?

The technological objects PositioningAxis (S7-1200 CPU, S7-1500 CPU) and SynchronousAxis (S7-1500 CPU) have the parameter "Homing.ApproachDirection" for setting the approach direction to a reference point switch.

Contrary to the current documentation (SIMATIC S7-1500 S7-1500 Motion Control V13 Update 3, TIA Portal V13 SP1 Update 7 Online Help), the parameter is set as follows:

FALSE: Positive approach direction
TRUE: Negative approach direction
