This entry provides information on the difference between compact and complete units.

QUESTION:

What are the differences between compact 3SU1 and complete 3SU1 units?

ANSWER:

Complete units consist of a combination of individual devices that are supplied together in a single packaging unit. Complete units offer customer the benefit of being able to order all of the devices required for a command point under a single article number (actuator, holder, module).

Compact units
come with the module integrated within the actuator. A contact or LED module no longer has to be snapped on. The holder only has the function of fixing the actuator in place. The holder is no different to the standard holders.
