Disclaimer regarding use of previous software versions
Siemens’ products and solutions undergo continuous development to remain leading in many fields of technology and to represent the state of the art. Siemens strongly recommends to apply product updates as soon as available and to always use the latest product versions.
Use of product versions that are no longer supported, and failure to apply latest updates may increase customer’s exposure to system degradation. By downloading unsupported product version the customer confirms that he operates this outdated product version at his own risk and responsibility and with full awareness of potential risks and consequences and confirms his conscious decision to abandon the enhancements available only with the current version as listed in [1]. The customer has read that he should actively plan the upgrade of his installed base to the latest supported product versions.
The Customer hereby explicitly agrees and accepts that Siemens does not cover any warranty or liability, explicitly or implicitly, regardless of any legal reason, for any damages or losses caused directly or indirectly by the use of outdated/unsupported product versions.
The Customer shall indemnify and hold Siemens harmless against any third-party claims existing or arising in this connection.
