S7-1500T: Synchronizing in Standstill "LCISS_CamInStandStill" / "LCISSM_CamInStandStillMultiple"

This application example shows how to couple the leading axis and one or more following axes via setpoint positions in standstill with camming using the instruction "MC_CamIn".

Synchronizing in Standstill with one following axis "LCISS_CamInStandStill"
To couple the leading axis and the following axis, these axes have to be in the synchronous position. You can use the "CamInStandStill" function block to move the following axis or the leading axis to the synchronous position and to synchronize them afterwards.

This application example describes how to synchronize a following axis (slave) to a leading axis (master) with a S7-1500T.

In the "LCISS_CamInStandStill" function block, the following synchronizing modes are realized:

  • If the leading axis is already in the synchronous position, the following axis will be moved to the synchronous position and will be synchronized.
  • If the following axis is already in the synchronous position, the leading axis will be moved to the synchronous position and will be synchronized.

The desired synchronizing mode can be selected via the "syncMasterToSlave" parameter.

The individual steps of the coupling via dynamics parameters are programmed in the "LCISS_CamInStandStill" function block (FB).
