Announcement of product phase-out for SIMOTICS M-1FE1/1FE2/1PH2 with KTY84-130 temperature sensor effective October 1, 2017

This product phase-out is only announced for built-motors of the 1FE1, 1FE2 and 1PH2 product families (only EWN types). The product is scheduled to be canceled effective October 1, 2019.

As already announced in 109478106, the manufacturer NXP has discontinued the temperature sensor KTY84-130 and stopped the production of this temperature sensor.

The successor versions with Pt1000 sensors were released for delivery in October/2016 (see 109742150for 1FE1109742155for 1FE2; 109742156for 1PH2).

The system requirements for operating motors with Pt1000 sensors can also be taken from these articles.

The product phase-out announcement is applicable for the following built-in spindle motors:
