Sales and delivery release for SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panel 15" - 22"
The devices have been reworked to ensure availability of spare parts. The updated and compatible devices - except for the Audio-In and the mini USB port - therefore are delivered with a new device image and new article numbers.

The successors have the following certificates at the start of delivery: CE, cULus, RCM (C-Tick), EAC as well as KCC.
The certificates for cULus Haz.Loc. and cFMus will be made available in the near future.
The list prices are identical to those of the old devices.
Configuration is performed with an HSP for WinCC in TIA Portal version V14 SP1 or in WinCC V15 and higher

Existing projects must be upgraded with the engineering system WinCC V14 SP1 HSP or WinCC V15 before they can be downloaded to the reworked devices.
The reworked Comfort Panels 15" - 22" can be configured as of SIMATIC WinCC V14 SP1 HSP or WinCC V15 .
The project download takes place over PROFINET, PROFIBUS as well as USB file transfer. The mini USB port is not supported for the project transfer.
A "backup" of existing devices cannot be used as "Restore" on devices with new article number or vice versa (see Engineering). This applies to manual as well as automatic backup with SIMATIC HMI Memory Card.
To replace defective devices, fully compatible replacement devices are still available in the spare part warehouse (EDN).
The starter kits will be adapted to the successor devices (-0AX1) around the time these become available.
