MICROMASTER MM440, MM430: Using a motor which is fitted with a PT1000 instead of a KTY84 temperature sensor

  • Entry
  • Associated product(s)
The MM440 and MM430 inverters were designed to use an input from either a PTC or a KTY84 temperature sensing device. The KTY84 is slowly becoming obsolete as a motor temperature sensing device. The PT1000 has been adopted as a replacement.

How can my MM440 or MM430 inverter use a motor which is fitted with a PT1000 instead of a KTY84 temperature sensor?

An adapter board has been developed which will enable a new motor equipped with a PT1000 to be used in place of a motor fitted with a KTY84.
