Control of a sliding gate with LOGO! 8 via a reversing contactor

The gate is operated by a key switch, a remote control, or via the LOGO! web server.

The motor is switched via contactors which are interlocked within the LOGO! switching
program. The movement of the gate is indicated by a signal light and the gate passage is monitored by a light barrier. When entering the premises, via the parameterization of an integrated astronomical clock a path lighting to the house is activated.





The integrated functions of a LOGO! 8 offer many additional possibilities to solve automation tasks quickly and simply.

With LOGO!, prefabricated function blocks support project creation, e.g. weekly time switch, pulse generator, astronomical clock/timer, seasonal time switch, stopwatch and simple logic gates.

The integrated LOGO! 8 web server offers from the LOGO! 8.2 version, in addition to the message text based display, the possibility to create user-defined web pages for clear operation and monitoring. This enables you to call up and control functions via the network.
