The SIMATIC CFU is a smart field distributor with freely configurable digital inputs and outputs as well as fieldbus connections for PROFIBUS PA field devices. It is connected to the automation system via PROFINET IO and facilitates a decentralized I/O approach. This enables standardized and flexible integration of field devices with the CFU.
