Filtering of messages and alarms in SIMATIC WinCC Unified

  • Entry
  • Associated product(s)
Always keep an overview of all alarms and messages on your machine so that you can react to faults as quickly as possible. The filtering of alarms and messages helps you to display only the information to the operator that meets certain criteria.

In the production environment, status, error and fault messages from machines occur again and again. These messages are displayed to the operator via a control unit and he can react accordingly. The larger a production facility is, the more information is displayed to the operator.

Solution
You can filter the messages and alarms so that the operator can always keep track of the large amount of information. You can define filter criteria via script or directly via the message display and apply them accordingly. The different application possibilities and their implementation are described in detail in this application example.
