Chapter 1: Engineering of drives
The video shows you the most important steps for setting up the user project in the TIA Portal, adding the SIMATIC controller and the SINAMICS drive to the TIA Portal project, setting up the data exchange between controller and drive, adding the technology objects for the drive axes in the SIMATIC controller and activating the Safety functions in the drive.

Chapter 4: Library integration SIMATIC Safe Kinematics in the user program
The video shows how to set up the kinematics to be monitored. A roll picker kinematics is used as example. The video shows the definition of the monitoring zones, the calling of the function blocks for linking the kinematics to the functions of "Safe Kinematics" and the transfer of the data of the technology object to the data storage of "Safe Kinematics" with the help of a TIA Add-In.
