Switching off the Intel(R) TPM Provisioning Service.
When you start Windows 10 LTSB 2016 the "Intel(R) TPM Provisioning Service" is started automatically. This service causes a constant increase in memory usage with approx. 130 handles and 3.3 MB in 4 days.

If the system is run continuously (24/7) without cyclic switching off/on, the increasing memory usage aggregates.

Switch the service off:

  • Open the Computer Management.
  • Navigate to Services.
  • Double-click the service "Intel(R) TPM Provisioning Service".

  • The pop-up menu of the service "Intel(R) TPM Provisioning Service" opens.
Set the startup type of the service to "Disabled" and confirm with OK.
