    Restrictions with Startdrive V14 SP1 Support Package for SINAMICS firmware V4.7 SP10

    The Support Package for the G120 firmware V4.7.10 prevents opening in Startdrive V14 and migration to V15 and V15.1.

    You have installed the Support Package for the G120 firmware V4.7.10 with TIA Portal and Startdrive V14 SP1 and have created a SINAMICS G120 drive with firmware V4.7.10, and now you can neither open the project with V14 nor migrate to Startdrive V15 or V15.1.

    You receive one or both of the following error messages:

    Solution
    You must open the project with Startdrive V14 SP1 and delete the drive with firmware V4.7.10 from the project.
    Then you can open the project again with TIA Portal and Startdrive V14 or migrate to Startdrive V15 or V15.1.
    You can then create the drive again with Startdrive V15 or V15.1.

    With Startdrive V15.1 UPD1 it is possible to migrate to V15.1 UPD1. This update can be downloaded on the Startdrive V15.1 page (Entry ID 109760845).
