    The SCALANCE X-200 firmware update version 5.2.4 can now be downloaded for free from Product Support.

    The following security fixes and improvements are included:

    • Ruggedness against DOS attacks and broadcast load, e.g. ARP bursts, has been enhanced

    • Messages when accessing device configuration in PNIO operation have been adapted

    • Reliability of the sending of Link Check frames has been improved

    • Correction of SSA-557804: Mirror Port Isolation Vulnerability in SCALANCE X switches

    Security information:

    • This update contains safety-relevant changes which enhance robustness against possible attacks. We therefore recommend that you update the firmware.
