The 3KD product family will be expanded by further switches with smaller dimensions: for all five frame sizes, 1 or 2 higher current ratings are to be introduced. The 3KD will be available up to 2000 A soon.
In addition, many technical data for all 3KD switch disconnectors are improved.
The new introduced switch disconnectors have smaller dimensions and a lower price position compared to the already existing 3KD switch disconnectors.
Due to this introduction, the customer has the benefit to choose between products with higher technical data but bigger dimensions or a product with lower technical data but significantly smaller dimensions.
The attached table shows an overview of the technical data of 3KD. The data colored in red are new or have been improved. Mostly the following data is concerned:
- switching without load:
AC-20 A values at 1000 V
DC-20 A values at 1000 V
- switching under load:
AC-21 A und AC-22 A Werte bei 1000 V
- improved short cicuit values
- short circuit values with series-conducted MCCB (3VA)
- higher endurance values
