Functional extensions compared to firmware V4.1.2:
- Login without password through SSH Public Key authentication
- Link check can also be activated at the HRP Standby ports when Standby Observer is switched on
- Device runtime can be read from MIB object "snX300X400SystemUpTime"
Problem fix:
- A problem with messages of the RM Observer has been resolved.
- A problem with the email function in connection with MS Office 365 has been resolved.

This update contains safety-relevant changes which enhance robustness against possible attacks. We therefore recommend that you update the firmware.

Notes:
Use the following program versions if you wish to load or save configurations of SCALANCE X-300 IE-switches using TIA Portal:
- TIA Portal V16
- TIA Portal V15.1 Update 4
If user authentication takes place via a RADIUS server, the configuration cannot be loaded or saved using TIA Portal.
Loading or saving the configuration with STEP7 is currently not possible.
