With SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.0 SP3, the new SIMATIC Process Control System IPC647E / IPC847E systems are offered for the first time with SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.0 SP3 pre-installation on the Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Standard Edition 64-Bit operating system basis. With each four fixed hardware configurations (2x IPC647E and 2x IPC847E), the systems with the restore image installations optimized for SIMATIC PCS 7 operation are available for the OS server, ES / OS single station / central engineering station, web server as well as one pure operating system installation without SIMATIC software.
The restore image with the optimized operating system installation without SIMATIC software allows you to implement further PCS 7 station types that are approved as part of the SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.0 SP3 system release for the Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Standard Edition
64-Bit operating system .
