Notes

  • Refer to the table for information relating to the minimum rating of residual current trip e.g. 30mA or 300mA  
    Note, this specification must not be interpreted to mean that the RCD is triggered with 30mA or 300mA, normally when operating a converter the RCD is triggered at a significantly lower fault current, for example 15mA or 20mA in the case of a 30mA RCD.
  • To provide protection against short-circuit, use the overcurrent devices listed in Technical data (fuses, circuit breakers etc.).
    Correct selection of overcurrent protection is still required.
  • As the inverters listed contain an EMC filter it is recommended to use “short-time-delay” RCD’s to avoid unnecessary triggering at power up.
    Type K or B “Super resistant” have this feature.

  • A dedicated RCD is used for every converter.
  •  The motor cables are as short as possible and do not exceed the following:
    - G110M 5m (16 ft) shielded
    - G110D, G115D and G120D 15m (49 ft) shielded.
