Two-hand controls are widely used in the industrial field. Fields of application include pressing, spot welding, punching and print finishing or wood working. A characteristic feature of the two-hand control is the fact that both hands are fixed. The desired action is started only by the simultaneous pressing of both push buttons of the two-hand control panel.

Solution
This example shows how a two-hand control panel is integrated in a failsafe configuration. A failsafe SIMATIC S7-1500F CPU coordinates the functional sequence in interaction with the standard and failsafe modules of the SIMATIC ET 200SP
