      Are only live parts, if any, allowed in the quenching spaces of 3RV circuit breakers?

       

       

      ANSWER:

      No objects are permitted in the specified arc quenching spaces as this could cause any gas pressure that builds up as a result of short-circuit tripping to back up. This excludes non-conductive objects with a small face surface and low volume such as vertical phase barriers for components on the top.
