Block search from PLC.
Perform a block search from the PLC.
The PLC can initiate a block search via FB4. To do this, the search pointer in the NC must be written via FB3 (PUT) for each program level. If an NC program is aborted via Reset, this point of interruption can be read from the PLC via FB2 (GET) for each program level.
In this PLC example (FB123), the point of interruption is read and written as search pointer for the block search (maximum of eight program levels) and a block search with calculation started then.
You will receive the PLC block in source format as well an an archived S7 project for 840D as download file (with 8xd-GP6.4).
