Controlled positioning in Set 22 is explained with the example of a shaping machine for socks. The linear and rotary axis should be viewed separately for better overview and the positioning process be reduced to 2 positions each.
The following requirements are posed to the controlled positioning:
- In manual mode, the plant configured via local control
- Moving the feed in automatic mode between Position A and Position B
- Positioning dynamic with two velocities is suffiecient
- Monitoring of positioning and shutdown in case of a failure
- Stop switch
A S7-200 controller is employed as a central module which controls the positioning process of the frequency converter SINAMICS G110 via digital outputs. This is a controlled positioning with rapid traverse and creep feed mode. The motor used is an asynchronous motor. Recording the actual position by means of an encoder enables moving variable distances as well as standstill monitoring. The plant is operated with a PC with WinCC flexible RT user interface.
