Are there differences in the status word 1 of the inverters after Power on and ON/OFF1 command?
The representation of the actual state is provided in bits 0, 1, 2 and 6 in status word 1 (r0052).
The behavior of these bits after Power on and ON/OFF1 command differs for the MM4 and G110M/G120x.
For the MM4 frequency inverter, bits 0, 1 and 2 are set alternating: 001, 010, 100.
For the G110M/G120x frequency inverter, bits 0, 1 and 2 are additively set: 000, 001, 011, 111 (in conformance with the PROFIDrive profile).
Evaluation of the status bits of the plc programme
With a possible change over from MM4 to G110M/G120x the program must be adapted, because otherwise the existing program logic will no longer correctly operate.
Differences and adjustments
The most significant difference involves bit r0052.2 "Drive running" (refer to Figs. 1 and 2).
For both drives, bit r0052.2 is set when starting (after an ON command).
The bit is reset
For the MM4 if the drive stops.
For a G110M/G120x frequency inverter, bit r0052.2 is immediately reset after the OFF1 command.
In order to emulate the same "Drive running" state for the G110M/G120x the same as for the MM4, you can use e.g. bit r0052.1 "Drive ready to run" (refer to Fig. 2).
State diagrams after Power on and ON/OFF1 command for the MM4 and G110M/G120x are subsequently shown. Using these diagrams, users can make the appropriate changes in their program.
