User Logon to the Operator Panel via HMI-RFI
A plant with different plant parts is to be operated and parameterized with several operator panels.
Depending on whether a user operates or maintains the plant or performs setting work, different user authorizations are required.
Until now, the classic logon to the operator panel has been performed by manually entering the user name and the associated password.
This type of logon is to be supplemented by an RFID card that is read out by means of a card reader.
In addition, it is to be possible to use the RFID cards for the acquisition of materials management goods.
This automation solution example comprises three operator stations.
The plant control level is mapped by an OPC client (using the example of MS Excel).
Card readers are connected to two of the three operator stations.
The operator panels and the MES level are connected to one another via Industrial Ethernet.
The figure below schematically shows the most important components of the solution.
