In WinCC flexible, how can you prevent pictures and picture objects being fitted automatically when you change the screen resolution (possibly widescreen)?
As from WinCC flexible 2008 SP2 it is possible to operate WinCC flexible Runtime in widescreen mode. If you want to convert your 4:3 project into a widescreen project, it is recommended to disable the setting "Fit screen and screen objects to new HMI device".
This setting is enabled by default in WinCC flexible and means that when you change to widescreen mode, all the picture objects are stretched and lose their original shape.
Proceed as described in the table below to disable the setting "Fit screen and screen objects to new HMI device".
|1||Open your WinCC flexible project.|
|2||Open the Settings dialog and via "Screen editor > Screen options > Settings" you disable the option "Fit screen and screen objects to new HMI device".
|3||Now you can change the screen resolution in the device settings.|
More information on the topic of "Operator panel dependency of projects" is available in the manual.
