A second-level cache is now available as an option for all PG 740           

and PG 760 programming devices shipped since July 1996. The card            

plugs into the basic board of the PG.                                       




PG 740 and PG 760 programming devices shipped before July 1996              

are not suitable for the new second-level cache if the Product              

Information Bulletin contains the following text (PG 740: page              

18, PG 760: page 19):                                                       

The Pentium module of this programming device can be enhanced               

with an asynchronous second-level cache memory of 256 Kbytes.               

You can usually use asynchronous cache modules of 256 Kbytes cor-           

responding to the INTEL COAST specifications 1.1.
