Description
The IWLAN/PB Link PN IO and the SCALANCE W Client Modules are operated as clients at the SCALANCE W Access Point.
The SCALANCE W Access Points and Client Modules are configured via the Web Based Management or the Command Line Interface (CLI).
The configuration wizards below are available in the Web Based Management of a SCALANCE W Access Point and Client Module :
- Basic Wizard
- Security Wizard
In the Web Based Management of the SCALANCE W Client Module the iPCF Wizard is also available for configuring.
If you do not use a PRESET PLUG for parameterizing the IWLAN/PB Link PN IO, then log on to the IWLAN/PB Link via Telnet. Parameterize the IWLAN/PB Link PN IO via the Command Line Interface (CLI) so that the device can be commissioned in the operational environment in which the configuration was also downloaded.
The table below shows the commands that you enter in the Command Line Interface (CLI) for parameterizing the IWLAN/PB Link PN IO compared with the settings that you make in the Web Based Management for parameterizing a SCALANCE W Client Module.
