What remedy is available if the time of day on an ST7cc PC or ST7sc PC is not automatically set by the TIM with DCF77 receiver which is connected to the MPI bus?
The time of day on an ST7cc PC or an ST7sc PC can be automatically set via a local TIM with DCF77 receiver which is connected to the MPI bus. If the time of day on the local TIM with DCF77 receiver is validated, by the DCF7 clock for example, the time of day is transmitted to the ST7cc PC.
If the automatic time setting function on the ST7cc PC or ST7sc PC does not work, causing the time of day on the PC to lie outside the set range and differ greatly from that of the DCF7 clock, the message "time of day of the time synchronization differs by x seconds" appears. In this case, the time of day must be corrected manually in the PC. If the time of day lies within the specified limits, the PCs time-of-day setting gradually approximates to the actual time. The time of day is not set suddenly.
Double-click "Date and Time" in the Windows Control Panel to open the "Date/Time Properties" dialog. Switch to the "Time Zone" tab. The "Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time" option must be enabled here.
