  3. Acknowledge alarm messages via process signals.

Instructions
Detailed descriptions of the separate methods for acknowledging messages are given below.

1. Acknowledge alarm messages via a script
In order for you to be able to acknowledge active messages, you must insert a message display in your picture. You can use the following functions to access the message display for acknowledging messages:

Acknowledge separate messages using the following functions:
SetPropDouble(lpctstr Screen name,lpctstr Object,"ToolbarButtonClick",10); or
SetPropWord(lpctstr Screen name,lpctstr Object,"ToolbarButtonClick",10) ;

Acknowledge all visible messages using the following functions:

2. Pressing the "Single acknowledgment" or "Group acknowledgment" button in the alarm display
In the alarm display configuration dialog, in the "Toolbar" properties menu, you can enable/disable the "Single acknowledgment" button or the "Group acknowledgment" button under "Toolbar - Buttons". At Runtime these buttons are then in the toolbar of the message display.

3. Acknowledge alarm messages via process signals
Acknowledging alarm messages is possible via internal or external acknowledge tags. Set the acknowledge bit of the acknowledge tag, via button or controller, for example, and in this way the relevant message is acknowledged.
