How can you start specific items in the Control Panel directly from the Runtime of a Comfort Panel?
For various applications it might be necessary to start a system function of the Comfort Panel during running operation. This can be done either directly in the Control Panel or in Runtime using the "StartProgram" function.
More information about the "StartProgram" function is available in the TIA Portal information system.
"Visualizing processes > Working with system functions and Runtime scripting > Reference (Basic Panel, Panels, RT Advanced) > Function list > System functions (Basic Panel, Panels, RT Advanced) > StartProgram"
In WinCC V12 onwards you can also start certain system functions via the "OpenControlPanelDialog" function.
The "StartProgram" is executed by means of a button with the "Click" event. This function starts the parameterized system function (you close the system functions using the "X" button).
|1||In you project you assign the "StartProgram" function to a button.|
The figure below shows an example of how the function parameters are to be entered in WinCC (TIA Portal).
|2||Assign the value "CTLPNL.exe" to the "Program name" function parameter.
For a Comfort Panel you use the the values from the list below for the program parameters.
Since this involves accessing the system level of the device, this button should be assigned a user authorization.
