  • Associated product(s)
QUESTION:
How can values from various channels be displayed in the Parameter operating area in the variable view?

ANSWER:
The application will be explained using an example for OPI variables. The following variables are to be displayed in the Parameter operating area:
• $AA_IW of the 1st axis from channel 1
• $AA_IM of the 1st axis from channel 2

Under f:\dh\com.dir, create a file debsynact.com with the following content:

//M(DESIGN/"DESIGN \COM.DIR\DEBSYNACT.COM")
DEF VAR1 = (R///,"$AA_IW 1st axis, channel 1"/WR1//"/Channel/GeometricAxis/actToolBasePos[u1,1]")
;/Channel/GeometricAxis/actToolBasePos[u<area index>, <line index>]
;<area index> = channel number
;<line index> = axis index
DEF VAR2 = (R///,"$AA_IM 1st axis, channel 2"/WR1//"/channel/MachineAxis/actToolBasepos[u2,1]")
;/Channel/MachineAxis/actToolBasePos[u<area index>, <line index>]
;<area index> = channel number
;<line index> = axis index
//END

After the control system restarts, variable $AA_IW of the 1st axis from channel 1 and $AA_IM of the 1st axis from channel 2 are displayed.

Note
The parameterization of the OPI variables is provided in the help file under f:\hmi_adv\hlp\btss_uk.hlp
