Sales and Delivery Release of Individual Components for SIMATIC MV420 / MV440

Several components are now individually available for the SIMATIC MV420 and MV440 code reading systems. For MV420 the user now has the option to individually order two different basic units, three ringlights and two lenses. Twelve different combinations are thus available for MV420. For MV440 the range of accessories has been expanded with another ringlight (green) and a plastic-metal protection tube ("PMMA").

1. Product Description

With immediate effect, the SIMATIC MV420 and SIMATIC MV440 code reading systems can be assembled from different individual components for the respective application. The basic camera unit (Body) is available in the Basic model (MV420 SR-B Body, 6GF3420-0AX20) or in the performance model (MV420 SR-P Body, 6GF3420-0AX40). Three diferent ringlights are available for the internal illumination: Red light (6GF3420-0AC00-1LT0), white light (6GF3420-0AC00-2LT0) and infrared light (6GF3420-0AC00-3LT0). Two lens kits are available with focal lenghts of 6mm (6GF3420-0AC00-0LK0) and 16mm (6GF3420-0AC00-1LK0). The lens kits include a plastic protection tube to ensure the high IP67 degree of protection.

The range of accessories for MV440 has been expanded with a green ringlight (6GF3440-8DA31) and a PMMA protection tube (6GF3440-8AC21).

4. Application

 

The robust MV420 1D/2D code readers can be used for all industrial areas in production control and production tracing. The individually available camera components enable a multitude of applications to be implemented. By selecting different lights (red, white, infrared) and lenses (6mm and 16mm), as well as different performance classes of the basic camera unit (Basic and Performance), the user can find the economical and technical optimum configuration both for simple and complex identification tasks. The PMMA D65 protection tube enables the MV440 code readers to be used in industries and applications where glass is not permitted - e.g. F&B.
