SIMOTION Print Standard Add-On Register Control TRC3000/TRC7000

  • Entry
  • Associated product(s)
The application shows the integration of register control solution TRC3000/TRC7000 to a Print Standard project.

Task
In modern printing presses each print unit is individually driven by servo motors. The synchronism is achieved by an electronic line shaft. For perfect printing results a high precise mark detection and exact calculation of the register offset between the print units is necessary.

Solution
The application offers an example for integration of the RGB print mark sensor TRC3000 and the print mark camera TRC7000 into a project based on Print Standard. The application provides the software for communication and parameterization of the sensors via ROFINET IRT, as well as the evaluation of point-, wedge- and block marks. Furthermore program units to control the axis for correction of length and side register deviations are included. The application can be operated with an adaptable visualization example for WinCC TIA.
The application can also be created with the Print Standard Equipment module for SIMOTION Project Generator.
