How the MTBF for SIMATIC IPCs is be calculated?
MTBF = Mean Time Between Failures = mean time between two consecutive failures of a component.
This value is a statistical value and for IPCs it is calculated on the basis of the failure rates of all the components used.
SIMATIC IPCs are configurable products. The MTBF depends on the configuration in each case. You must calculate it separately for each case.
You need the following information to determine the MTBF for SIMATIC IPCs.
|1||Complete order number||6AG4104-2DP32-2FX0|
|2||Ambient temperature||25°C or 40°C, 45°C or 50°C depending on the device|
|3||Operating mode||8h/day or 24h/day|
