SINAMICS G120/G120P, CU230P-2: Closed-Loop Control for a staircase fan
Staircases in residential and office buildings are constructed so that they can be ventilated. In the past and still for the most case today this ventilation is effected by windows or at interior, windowless stairwells, by skylights. Depending on the tightness of the cladding especially in the area of the stairwells, windows and doors must be more or less aired by the staircase window.
In the application fans for ventilation of staircases are described. In normal operation the fan suctions used air from the stairwell. The speed set point is preset by fixed set points. In addition, a fire mode can be enabled which reverses the direction of rotation of the fan in case of an emergency. This generates a pressure inside the stairwell, so that fire or smoke can not block the escape routes from the floors. The fan speed is controlled by the air pressure. For that reason up to three pressure sensors can be distributed inside the staircase to ensure that even when a door is opened a steady minimum pressure is achieved. In the case of fire faults which would not result in a shutdown of the drive will be ignored. When faults develop which would result in a shutdown the automatic restart will be started and the drive will start again after successful fault acknowledge.
Commissioning of SIMOTICS FD motors is not supported in this version.
When using load side components as output reactors, dv/dt filters and sinusoidal filters, necessary parameter changes have to be done additional.
