How do you read out the direction of rotation of an axis on a Technology CPU?

In the Technology CPU there are no status bits which can be used to display the current direction of rotation of an axis.
However, this can be easily derived by program from the setpoint velocity or from the actual velocity.

Below is are the short program sequences required for this.
