    Description
    Products of the SIPLUS extreme family (6AG1* and 6AG2*) are identical to the SIMATIC products (for example, 6ES7*; 6GK*; 6BK*; 6EP…) in their functional properties and configuration and do not have separate manuals and operating instructions.


    The manuals and operating instructions for products of the SIMATIC family are located here:

    The manuals/operating instructions for the SIPLUS extreme type can be downloaded under the BasedOn type (article no. 6ES7; 6GK…) with similar functions. The manual and operating instructions might include additional content for SIPLUS extreme.

    The associated SIMATIC type is specified as "based on 6ES7..." in all publications (packing labels, rating plate, delivery papers, the Mall ...).


    Note
    Please note that the threshold values for ambient conditions and the permitted field of application of SIPLUS and the BasedOn are usually different.
