SINUMERIK HMI-Advanced: Sporadic "File is not an archive" message when reading in archive files
Concerne le/les produits(s)
What causes the "File is not an archive" message to be output when importing archive files via HMI-Advanced?
When importing via the serial COM interface (RS232)
If data transfer is not exited, the control waits for additional data sets. If an attempt is then made to transfer a second archive file, the control identifies a second file header, and interrupts the transfer with the "File is not an archive" message.
Check the serial data transfer parameters of the interface:
- Correctly parameterize the "STOP with end of data transfer character" parameter
- Time monitoring
- Manually terminate data transfer using softkey "V24 STOP".
Alternatively, the "File is not an archive" message can be resolved by restarting the PCU50 (HMI-Advanced is restarted).
When importing via the MPI/OPI interface
(> Services > Key: “>” > Series commissioning > Import commissioning archive) the file must be the archive type (ARC extension). The "File is not an archive" message is output if the archive file is defective.
