    Announcement Phase out: SIRIUS MCU metal and soft starter 8PV5051

    Beginning on August 1, 2014, the phase-out phase for the SIRIUS MCU motor starters in metal enclosures and the 8PV5051 soft starters will be in effect.

    As of August 1, 2014, the SIRIUS MCU motor starters in metal enclosures
    (3RK4320-3.Q54-.BA., 3RK4320-5.Q64-.BA.) and the 8PV5051* soft starters are identified as phase-out types. You will find a detailed list with the affected order numbers in the attachment to this newsletter.
     
    For new systems, we recommend the SIRIUS M200D motor starter with a AS-Interface.
    These motor starters cover the functionality of the SIRIUS MCU motor starters, with only a few exceptions (e.g. partially limited power range). You will also find a conversion list for MCU motor starters to M200D in the attachment of this newsletter.
