  • Associated product(s)
The block library of the Motion Control function of the S7-1500 CPUs has no blocks for reading or writing parameters acyclically. How do you access the parameters of the drive?

Instructions
The Motion Control function and the standard mechanisms for acyclic access to parameters can simply be used in parallel as long as the drive complies with the PROFIdrive profile.
This is the case, for example, with all SINAMICS converters with PROFIBUS or PROFINET connection.

You use the following blocks to access the drive parameters:

  • Recommended: The "SINA-PARA" block from the global library "DriveLib_S71500" installed with Startdrive (Download at entry ID: 68034568.
A download without Startdrive, a description of the library and the blocks are available at entry ID 109475044.
  • The SFBs "RDREC" and "WRREC" to access the data record 47 of the drive. More information is available in the drive documentation.
  • With the blocks in the library LAcycCom for SIMATIC S7-1200/S7-1500. You can download the library and the description in item ID 109479553
