For the switch disconnector 3KD frame size 4 and 5 (630 A to 1600 A), the AC-23 switching capacities have been improved significantly so that no derating is needed for all values up to 690 V. This makes it possible to choose eventually a smaller frame size that needs less space and also saves costs.
