The 2-wire method allows the inverter to be started and stopped by using only 1 digital input in combination with the internal 24 V supply of the inverter. For most applications the 2-wire method is adequate to start and stop the inverter. The 3-wire control allows the inverter to be started and stopped directly with a press of a switch.
