SINAMICS DriveSim Basic provides easy-to-use models for PROFIdrive-enabled SINAMICS drives, so you can create a digital twin of your drive.
Level controls are used to maintain the level of liquid in tanks and basins at a constant level. There are two types. Pump either supplies the liquid into the tank to ensure the level does not drop below the minimum or it pumps the water out of basin or sump to ensure the level does not exceed the maximum.
Pressure-controlled pumps are used in piping systems when pressure at the consumer must be kept constant even when the flow fluctuates. This predominantly involves water supply systems.
Fans for feed air systems are either in the form of standalone units or part of an air treatment system (HVAC system). They supply air into the residential buildings, agricultural or industrial facilities.
Water and other cooling media are used in process technology and building systems in order to dissipate process heat or power loss in the form of heat.
In cooling towers that are parts of process technology and building systems the fans are used to cool down the hot cooling medium to the required temperature in a cooling circuit.
Fans and ventilators for exhaust air can be usually found in large-scale kitchens, restroom facilities, offices and public buildings where they suction out the dust, smells, stale air or smoke in case of fire.
Vacuum pumps are compressors and blowers which are connected to the system with the suction side instead of with the outlet (pressure) side. As a result a negative gauge pressure is created which is used to suction out air or gas.
Compressors and blowers compress the air or other gases to the values significantly above atmospheric pressure.
In tunnels and car parks fans and ventilators are used for fresh air delivery and also for harmful exhausts extraction in case of fire.
