Mindconnect agent shared secret key expired

DipikaSamanta Regular Member Joined: 4/16/2021 Last visit: 8/1/2023 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello The onboarded secret key for Simatic iot2040 asset expires when the Iot was switched off for 15 days, even after the iot was turned on we did not have any source to see whether the secret key was expired. Data for those days are lost and not recorded. How to address such situation with clients? Can we retain those data?

bergmanu Platinum Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 3345 Rating: (379)	Hi, without knowing details about the MindConnect stuff, I would say that after the key expired you can refer to the documentation of the MindConnect node (e.g. the part "Troubleshooting"). I would guess that either the node (having an error) or your asset share the information that a kex is expired. To check the information from the node, the only way is to implement some logic for that. In case of missing connection it could buffers the data and mabye send a notification to your email address that something is wrong. I attached an example flow for buffering.
