I know that the IOT works under linux but I don't know if it is limited or if I can install what I want on it. thank you

The only way for openVPN is to build a customized Example Image with openVPN included. You can find instructions on that here. Using the IOT2050 you can install anything you want to as this runs a usual Debian. Best regards!
