parametrizing of simodrive 611 U for non siemens induction motor

sh63 Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Dear sir, I configur one non siemens induction motor to simodrive 611 U and after connection of encoder and power I configur motor in speed/torque mod and do following action according to the siemens manual. 1- determine and optimization of motor data 2- calculat controler data now there istwo problem 1- after pulse enable and controler enable in standstill status motor consum 67amp current.and there is this consumtion for every speed setpoint while motor is without any load. 2- when we set on speed setpoint the speed setpoint that we see insimocomis setpoint that we set divided by 4. for looking I trace torque generatin current and actual speed and I saw that consumtion is normal. I dont know what is the reason of this consumtion.please guide me for solving the problem. thamks alot M.farzinfard

sh63 Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hi, Thank you for your answer,the rating current is 116 Amps I have checked the parameter and was ok. in high speed the motorcurrent decrease to 10 amps.is it normal?What is different between motor current and torque generating current that we see in simocom software.because the torque generating current is most lower than motor current.

You can try to decrease the velo gain (in expert mode) and see if the current decreases. Best Nit
